Nadja Clarke began massage therapy in Santa Barbara at the age of 18, inspired by visionary artists and healers such as Elisabeth Kubler Ross and Alex Grey. After becoming certified on a Nationally recognized level in 2001 she has been sought after as a touch therapist by a wide range of clientele including Hospice patients, UCSF medical center cancer patients and staff, for dignified celebrities (KT Tunstall, Sarah Chalke), and especially for the San Francisco Bay Area community interested in health and well being as a lifestyle.
Her techniques are most often described by seasoned massage recipients as “unique”, “strong”, “very helpful” and “intuitive.” Nadja has recieved several 5 star reviews on Yelp and Citysearch from a variety of locations, was referred to as having “talented hands” by the Marina Times, and most notably, after only 2 years of massage practice, was named Best Massage of San Francisco by Allure Magazine who claimed she “manipulated famous muscles” in 2003. She says “my natural, empathic understanding of peoples’ intentions to improve constantly inspires my work.”
